From: Ryan Tate, British Tennis Singles League

I run an organisation called British Tennis Singles Leagues which run singles leagues in the North and the Midlands.

I'm looking to set up a league for the Cleveland area. There is things I am going to do to try and promote the league however there is only so much I can do myself as the organiser to make people aware of the league, it would be very much appreciated if you could pass on information for the league to clubs in the area.

Below I have put some general information regarding the Singles League that you can forward onto the clubs. I have also put the link for our website at the bottom of the email and my contact details.

The league will cater for players of all levels from novices to advanced players. We have a specially designed questionnaire and process to make sure players are placed into groups alongside players of a similar standard.

The league will run on a round basis where there will be a short break followed by a new round we aim to put people into groups of a similar standard so that players of an equal ability can compete against each other. Matches can be played anytime so will not effect club matches through the season. The league is open to both male and female players and players will play between 4-6 matches per round.

We are LTA approved so match results will be automatically submitted to the LTA for those who have a LTA rating. Results will be posted online and players will be able to view league tables online through our website.

The league will launch on the 15th of September.

Below is a link to our website.

Anybody who wishes to join the league can sign up via the website.
