Court Cleaning

posted 21 Apr 2013, 11:15 by Chris Hancock   [ updated 21 Apr 2013, 11:16 ]
The courts are currently undergoing a process of cleaning, to remove the dirt and grime, and any moss off the surface. This is a very time-consuming exercise, so will take place over the course of several weeks, generally on Saturdays. Only one court will be worked upon at a time, and the court manufacturers recommend 24 hours to dry afterwards before they are then played upon. This means that at least two courts should always be available for use, and that just the one will be out of action for around a day at a time.

We are sorry for any inconvenience that this might cause, however there should always be courts still available for you to use. The guys from Carillion who are undertaking the work are doing a great job, and when you see them half completed, you can tell that it is making a huge difference.
